What do I need to get a local MasterCard or VISA Gold Card?

If you’re not a customer of Banco Popular right now: 

• Certification of income and employment.
• A copy of your Dominican I.D. Card or passport.
• Three credit references. 
• Original bank account statements of the last three months.
• Must be 18 to 65 years old.

If the applicant is a foreign national, they will need a solidary guarantor who is a citizen of the Dominican Republic (preferably a Banco Popular customer), or Bank-held collateral is required.
